About Josie
Having studied A-level Sociology myself, I understand how challenging it can be to figure out exactly what the exam board is looking for. Answering exam questions effectively is a skill that takes time to develop, and finding them difficult doesn't mean you can't have a genuine passion for Sociology.
I never expected to continue studying Sociology at university, but I'm so glad I did. It has completely changed the way I see the world, and it's something I think about every day. I truly believe everyone can benefit from learning Sociology because it helps us understand the society we live in and the issues that shape our everyday lives.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades and exam technique but also to inspire a genuine interest in the subject. I want to share my enthusiasm for Sociology and help students feel more confident, engaged, and excited about their learning.

I offer tutoring for both GCSE and A-level Sociology students. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style, helping to build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Sessions are flexible, with a minimum duration of one hour. Each lesson includes interactive activities, exam-style practice questions, and targeted support to strengthen understanding of key concepts and improve exam technique. Most importantly, I aim to create a positive, engaging learning environment where Sociology is both enjoyable and rewarding to study.
