About Elmar
I am a mid-senior software engineer, working remotely for the US. I have been programming and building software for small to large firms for many years, and it is my biggest passion. I also enjoy teaching and have been doing so for 6+ years now!

I like to approach teaching programming in a very methodical way, figuring out the foundation and skillset of my students and altering the learning path to suite them. For beginners that is usually starting off with basic algorithms and practicing the 'coding way of thinking'. The lessons aim to bring the best out of each individual student. I also assist with any work the student may be struggling with.

Perfect! Elmar was very willing to help, even though I had very little time to do a super difficult computer science project. He gave it his all and was willing to stay up very late to help me out.
Perfect! Elmar gave much thought and time into helping me with my Python task. He explained very clearly and patiently, pointing out my problem areas and running through the correct solutions and best practices. Excellent!
