About Steven
Hello! I'm Steven, a Software Engineer with a degree in Computer Engineering and professional experience designing and developing software solutions. I have a strong passion for both technology and teaching, and I enjoy helping students overcome challenges and gain confidence in their abilities.
Throughout my academic journey and professional career, I've mentored classmates, junior developers, interns, and colleagues, giving me valuable experience explaining technical concepts to learners with different levels of knowledge. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs and pace.
My expertise includes Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Structures and Algorithms, Databases, Computer Networks, Object-Oriented Programming, and related computing subjects. I combine academic knowledge with real-world industry experience, allowing me to explain not only the theory but also how concepts are applied in professional software development.

My teaching approach is focused on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorising answers. I break complex topics into simple, manageable steps and adapt each lesson to the student's current knowledge, learning style, and goals. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
I teach in English and can assist students with Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Structures and Algorithms, Databases, Networking, Object-Oriented Programming, and related university-level subjects. I also help with exam preparation, assignments, coding projects, and interview preparation.
A typical lesson includes identifying areas of difficulty, explaining the underlying concepts with practical examples, working through problems together, and reinforcing the material with exercises and real-world applications. My goal is to help students become confident, independent problem solvers who understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the solution works.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, high school students interested in programming, university students, and professionals looking to strengthen their software development skills or learn new technologies.
