About Liam
I have loved programming since I was a kid - It's a great creative outlet and I feel incredibly lucky to have turned something I enjoy into a career. I would love to share that with you and help you to do the same. I had the opportunity to teach programming in schools with the BBC at university and really enjoyed it. I've worked on a lot of side projects since (see here: (concealed information) outside my job as a web developer for an insurance company. I have experience in industry with Java/TypeScript/React/AWS, and Node/Python through side projects.

No matter your level - I can walk you through building a web project from start to finish. While I found studying computer science helpful, I learnt the most working on personal projects I enjoyed building. I want to help you feel confident starting your own projects, and to use them to learn new technologies and add to your portfolio. If you have a particular technology in mind let me know! I can tailor lessons to focus on the fundamentals (HTML/CSS), JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue) or going further by adding a backend with Node. Either way you'll go away with a live website to show off!
