About Julia
As an engineer with a decade of experience at the top of the social media and gaming industries, who still works in the gaming industry today, I teach out of a love for growing the next generation of technologists.
Coming to engineering from a non-traditional background, low-income family and being a member of the LGBT community, I'm particularly interested in supporting learners who are queer, coming to things later in life or from disadvantaged groups/backgrounds. Discounts are available to my rate dependent on circumstances.

I believe in a collaborative approach to learning by doing which is flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule. Each meeting we will explore a new area of focus, ending with the introduction of an exercise for you to approach throughout the week. Prior to our next meeting, I will review and provide feedback on the exercise to provide you with an opportunity for reflecting on what you've learned and where I could offer you more support.
