About Hassan
I’m Hassan, a software engineer and a University of Toronto Engineering Science (Machine Intelligence) grad!
Engineering Science taught me you can’t memorize your way through hard material. So I teach from first principles: where a formula comes from, why it works, and what breaks if you change it. Once the “why” clicks, problem sets stop feeling like guesswork.
I tutor math, programming, and physics grade school through university level. Most students come to me stressed about an exam or a course that got away from them. My job is to get you to the point where you can look at an unfamiliar problem and know how to start.

I make math, programming, and physics tutoring genuinely engaging, and I work with students from grade school through university-level courses. My approach is first-principles based: instead of memorizing formulas, you’ll understand where they come from, which makes the material stick and takes a lot of the stress out of exams.
