About Abhirami
I've recently graduated with a software engineering degree from York University. I am confident in my ability to do and teach math. I aim to communicate lessons clearly and make it as simple as possible. I am warm and friendly, and respect my students. I recognize that each individual has their own talents and math may not be yours. Math is my strong suit and I would love to help you with it!

About the lesson

1. I follow a people first approach. I would first take time to get to know my student and understand their strengths and weaknesses.
2. Each session will have 20% theory and 80% practice. I believe math can only be learnt by doing. If and when a student gets stuck, I will jump in.
3. I want to create a safe space for students, especially those who may have struggled with math before. I believe that math can be taught with patience and clarity.
4. I prefer students up to 11th grade.
