About Yuvraj
I also faced the same thing. Not as a parent but as a child of a couple who were really sucked at understanding their child. I grew up analysing how my parents interpreted my actions and drew conclusions from them, which led to mostly wrong decisions. I observed different parents from very lenient to very strict along with their child's behaviour. Doing this for years gave me a clear understanding of the concept.

I myself am an adolescent whose quick in understanding how parents usually feel. Understanding children of different ages is really complex but not when a child himself explains it to their parents.
