About Calum
I am a touring Scottish singer-songwriter and musician with extensive live performance experience across the UK, Europe and Cuba. My music has been featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Scotland. I also compose for film and work independently as an artist, which brings real-world industry experience into my teaching. I am committed to helping students build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy making music in a supportive and professional environment tailored to their individual goals.

I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether that’s learning acoustic guitar, improving songwriting, or developing performance confidence. My approach is practical and creative, focusing on making music quickly while building solid technique and understanding of songwriting, structure and expression.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can be adapted depending on your needs.
I am an experienced touring singer-songwriter, with extensive live performance experience across the UK, Europe and Cuba, and my music has been featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Scotland. I also compose music for film and work as an independent artist, which informs a real-world teaching approach.
These lessons are suitable for beginners through to more advanced players, and I work with teenagers and adults of all ages.
