About Sonia
Hello! I am Dr. Sonia, a passionate Physics tutor with a PhD in Physics and more than 6 years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level, AP, IB, CBSE, ICSE, and university-level Physics through interactive and concept-based learning methods. My goal is to simplify complex topics using clear explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques that help students build confidence and achieve excellent academic results. Along with teaching, I have research experience in semiconductor devices, nanoelectronics, perovskite materials, and 2D materials, allowing me to guide students in both academic and advanced topics. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn Physics.

I believe Physics becomes truly exciting when students understand the “why” behind every concept. My teaching approach focuses on transforming complex topics into simple, engaging, and easy-to-visualize ideas through interactive explanations, real-life applications, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques. I create personalized lessons based on each student’s learning style, helping them build strong conceptual foundations, analytical thinking, and exam confidence rather than relying on memorization. With a supportive and student-friendly environment, I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation in every session. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to develop a genuine interest and confidence in Physics that stays with them beyond the classroom.
