About Chris

Hey! My name is Chris. I am 21 years old, and I study computer science at college. I love teaching, and it's my pleasure to explain. Here are the reasons why I love teaching: 1. I love speaking about topics that fascinate me, such as coding, languages, philosophy, and history 2. I love helping people. It might sound interesting, but it makes my soul happy to see someone smile because I helped them 3. I love coding (I even do it as a hobby) 4. I also learn. No matter how experienced one is, they'll still learn. We are all humans, it happens that I don't see or understand something, yet my student does. I learn quite a lot as well:) For all of these reasons, I love teaching. I feel good when I teach, and I strive to make my students feel good and have fun while learning.

About the lesson

Why you should choose me: I have experience in teaching people in the languages mentioned above on another site, mostly students, and they got great results on tests and exams they took. Other than that, my coding skills, wording skills, and skills of explaining programming are rather outstanding, sprinkled with some humour. I will show you tricks and help you find some kinds of patterns that would help you construct your code. My goal is to make learning playful and enjoyable for you and to set up a friendly vibe. :) The typical length of a lesson is 2 hours, but we could agree on either longer or shorter lessons. Keep in mind that usually my lessons get longer than planned. Of course, the very first hour is free (even if the lesson lasts 2 hours), so we can get to know each other a bit and get used to each other, and so that I can prove to you that if you'd like to get better at coding in the languages mentioned above, then I'm your person. :) About my services: - Teaching you the basics of coding - Teaching you the syntax of the languages mentioned above - Helping you in preparing for upcoming tests or exams, both theory and practice - Being guide for solving homeworks if you have any - Tips and tricks which you can use (mainly teaching you how to notice patterns and what to use to solve a problem) - Having fun:) Other services (non-teaching and non-coding lessons): - Helping with projects in the languages mentioned - Writing programmes for you (Not recommended in case of homeworks, come on, you have to do it yourself:) I can help you with it though) - Teaching algebra - Teaching some other subjects that are connected to computer science (i.e. databases, algorithms, etc.) You can use any of my services for £10 per hour for lessons; other services vary in cost.
