About Amy

I am a 17 year old female, the oldest daughter who has 4 younger siblings and a dog. Patience is something I have mastered.
Over the years I have struggled with finding tutors who can understand me. My tutors taught me from what age I was, and with what age I was, I was taught the societal level for my specific age group. Sometimes too hard or too easy, and sometimes relatable or off topic to what I was learning. Going to school for more than half of my live and meeting many different people, I understand that everyone is different meaning everyone isn’t at the same level as what society expects us to be. Many factors contribute to this, for me I never figured out how I best study, people can be visual, kinesthetic, auditory and more learners. Understanding this I have been able to use this knowledge to further engage the students I have taught. I understand that everyone has different living conditions and can have more to do than study all day. I want to ensure my students that I am here not to overload them and takeup all their time but help them with their work loads while also excelling them.

About the lesson

Plans for Lessons: First lesson will be an assess of skill and students studying method, then personalised plans will be made for that specific student (that will shown to parent/parents)
Teaching Methodology: As a soon to be graduate I understand that not all students learn the same way, I want to demonstrate my smills from Prior/Current Qualifications to further improve my teaching skills, in preparation for pursuing into a Bachelors of Primary or Secondary Education.

Prior/Current Qualitification: Prior Tutor Experience (Family/FamilyFriends), CERT III in VET Sports Coaching, and SBAT (Traineeship) teaching Years K-12 [Company: ‘Creating Chances’]
