I'm Sophie a Bachelor of Science student at Monash Uni with a major in Genetics. I'd love to share my passion for biology (and teaching) with you and assist you on your STEM journey.

About Sophie
I have worked as an assistant teacher and privately tutored students for six years. I have also done volunteer teaching/tutoring and completed a teaching internship.
I have completed VCE Biology and I am currently studying Science/Arts at Monash University with majors in Genetics and French. I am a high achieving student and I received the Dean's List Award. Whilst my focus at uni is genetics, I am interested in all areas of biology. As part of my degree I also study statistics and coding.
I have completed work experience in different labs and in the field in a variety of different areas such as stem cells, epigenetics, diabetes, psychiatry and ecology and conservation.
After graduating, I'm hoping to become a researcher in the conservation field using genetics to protect our planet and all life that inhabits it!
