About Sarah

Hi there :) I’m Sarah, a student at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. I have always been passionate about math and have consistently achieved top grades (A/A+) throughout my studies. I also completed AP Calculus AB and scored a 5, which strengthened both my understanding and confidence in the subject.

I currently work as a student tutor at my university, where I help students understand difficult concepts in a clear and structured way. I’ve often been told that I explain math very well and make complicated topics easier to understand, which encouraged me to start tutoring.

I enjoy helping students because I know math can feel challenging, but with the right explanation, it becomes much more logical and manageable. I like seeing students gain confidence when they finally understand a topic they were struggling with.

My goal is to help students improve step by step, build strong foundations, and feel more confident in solving math problems on their own.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching math is to make concepts simple and easy to understand. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into smaller steps so students can build a strong foundation and actually understand the “why” behind the solution, not just memorizing formulas.

I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions. I also adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level and pace.

Each lesson is typically 1 hour and can include concept explanation, practice questions, and review of homework or difficult topics.

My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle, and high school students who need help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and statistics, or who want to strengthen their overall math skills and confidence.
