About Damilola

I am a Yoruba Linguist. I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics Yoruba from one of the well-renowned universities in Nigeria - University of Lagos. In addition, I have been giving private lessons to learners who are in need of the language for 4 years. Also, I have strong excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information to learners in a clear and easy to understand fashion, verbally and in writing.

About the lesson

During my years of teaching, I have been equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method. I apply this method through interactive, student-centered activities that maximize "Student talk time". By engaging students in some of the following core areas in Yoruba: Grammar, reading, writing, sounds, vocabulary and literature, I help them improve their accuracy and fluency across skill areas.
