About Jessica
I have studied classical singing techniques for six years and will have completed a master's degree in opera performance at the end of January 2026. I take teaching very seriously and wish to inspire my students and encourage them to reach their full potential. I believe that with training anyone can sing. Whether it is for personal enjoyment or higher ambitions I dedicate myself to guiding students towards their goals and beyond with planned lessons and strategies for diagnosing and solving vocal problems and increasing proficiency and confidence.

I offer classical singing lessons in English tailored to individual needs and goals. Lesson structure depends on the age of the student in order to treat the vocal cords with the care they need. For the younger students (minimum age 7) I will be teaching song memorization as well as musical appreciation. As young singers progress, they will learn some technical exercises to develop vocal flexibility and accuracy without strain. Young singers will also be taught how to interpret lyrics and inject expression into their performance. Children will be encouraged to be expressive and imaginative in how they sing, creating an experience that is both productive and fun. For students in their teens and upwards, lessons will include vocal warm-ups to prepare the voice for more complicated techniques. I will help students select repertoire that they will enjoy and which will help them increase their technical and dramatic ability. For pieces in European languages such as Italian, German and French I will teach the student how to properly translate, pronounce and sing in these languages. Part of singing well includes enjoying the art therefore lessons will be created to encourage both challenges and enjoyment.
