About Maria Camila

Hello! My name is Maria Camila, I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, currently living in Malta, where I learned English. Because I’ve gone through the process of learning a new language myself, I understand that it takes patience, consistency, and confidence. That’s why I create a calm, friendly space where you can speak Spanish without pressure and enjoy the learning journey. I’m not a certified teacher, but I’m organized, encouraging, and always focused on helping you improve. If you're looking for someone patient, reliable, and truly committed to your progress—I'd love to support you in your Spanish learning!

About the lesson

As a native Spanish speaker, I focus on helping students feel confident using Spanish in real situations. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and based on real conversation, supported by practical vocabulary and clear grammar when needed. Each lesson includes: A short warm-up (review or small talk) A focused topic or goal (e.g., describing your day, making plans) Speaking and listening practice through guided conversation Corrections, explanations, and useful expressions A summary with vocabulary and optional homework sent by email I also correct any completed homework and send personalized feedback to help you improve. My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate learners (teenagers and adults) who want to practice speaking naturally, improve fluency, or prepare for travel, daily life, or casual conversation. What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging approach and the attention I give to each student after class—with summaries, corrections, and support so you keep progressing between lessons.

I have known María Camila for over two years. She is a native Spanish speaker. I have had the opportunity to work with her, and I can confidently say that she is dedicated, cooperative, and an excellent tutor. She has often been surrounded by people who speak other languages, and she is always willing to teach her own with patience and enthusiasm.

María Camila is always ready to help, at any time. It has been incredible to get to know such a valuable person, and even more so to learn from her.
