About Makayla
Grammar clicked for me during my own college linguistics courses when I realized language is just a complex puzzle. I spent 11 years observing how different brains absorb new sounds and patterns. Hobbyists often appreciate how I connect abstract rules to real world situations. Kids find my energy helpful when we tackle tricky verb conjugations together.
Absolute beginners feel supported because I explain why things work the way they do. My classroom presence is built on clear communication and constant encouragement.
I focus on pronunciation techniques that actually make sense to native English speakers. I love seeing the moment a student masters a difficult phrase. Translating nuances between Latin American and Castilian variants is a regular part of my day. You can expect steady progress through our shared work together.

Sometimes I worry that my excitement for syntax makes me talk a bit too fast for new learners. I fix this by slowing down the pacing to match your comfort level while providing instant feedback on your progress. Because I have 11 years of experience, I know exactly which everyday phrases are the most useful for your upcoming travels.
Reading comprehension becomes much simpler when we break down the text into manageable chunks. I bring my professional translation background into the mix to clarify why we choose certain words over others. Would you prefer to start with basic conversation or focus on your reading skills first?
