About Mira

I'm a University of Oxford graduate student specialising in Latin American culture and literature. Languages have been my passion since I was a child and I've been giving lessons part-time for the last 9 years (I'm 28 years old now). I was a Polish language and History teacher in Polish Saturday School in Cardiff but I also have experience working with adults. I've worked with groups as well as with individuals.

About the lesson

For me, learning a new language is always an adventure and I want my students to feel the same way. Working with different students, I developed a set of ground rules which I try to follow: 1) always look for ways to keep students interested and passionate 2) be systematic and thorough 3) approach every student individually 4) be patient and nice: everyone deserves as much time and attention as they need If you want to feel more confident in conversations, we will focus on that. Want to improve your writing skills? No problem! Maybe you're curious about Spanish or South American culture and literature? If you think that my style of teaching suits you, don't hesitate to contact me!

She has a deep understanding of linguistics and is able to speak fluently at least 4 different languages and knows a lot about the history and origins of them and more. I highly recommend her as your tutor.
