About Lyric
I hold a B.A. in Spanish Language, Literature, and Applied Linguistics and have taught Spanish for 7 years, helping learners of all levels achieve fluency and cultural understanding. My teaching emphasizes interactive learning, structured grammar practice, and immersive conversation, ensuring students develop confidence and competence. I provide lessons that are engaging, personalized, and supportive. Through conversation, exercises, and cultural exploration, I help learners understand the “why” behind grammar rules, idiomatic usage, and pronunciation patterns. Constructive feedback and encouragement are central to my approach, promoting steady improvement. Outside the classroom, I immerse myself in Spanish literature, music, media, and cultural activities to bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding because I witness learners gain both language mastery and cultural awareness. Supporting students in becoming confident, expressive, and culturally competent communicators is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Lesson progression is tailored to individual proficiency. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, sentence structure, and pronunciation. Intermediate learners refine grammar, expand vocabulary, and practice more complex conversations. Advanced students develop nuanced expression, rapid comprehension, stylistic versatility, and preparation for professional or academic contexts.
