About Martin
Hello. I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina and live in San Francisco, CA. I am an award-winning filmmaker, writer, actor, and musician. I have a BA in Arts and worked for over 30 years. I can speak basic Italian because part of my family is from Italy. I started teaching Spanish about 15 years ago in Argentina and then in the US. I have a lot of experience in schools and private classes. I teach in two schools and in a major adult company, where I have private sessions with each employee, most of them speak English and it goes very well. I am in my third year. Private sessions are very good if you have the motivation and time to follow our schedule.
I like teaching in person, but I think online can be another option. I like to follow the student and know what they need in learning. I use Google Classroom if necessary.

Over the years in the United States where I live, I have had the opportunity to teach Spanish to children and adults of all ages. I worked in many schools in California as professional teacher. My experience for many years in United States has given me my own technique which consists of visualizing the language and the music it has. I am also an artist and I use many art tools to teach.
The fascinating thing about this is that the second language always seems to be something heavy and difficult to absorb. I always use different tools, games and different visions of fast and efficient comprehension in my teaching technique. My classes are very specific and personalized for each student. I provide material and we plan short and long term goals.
I am NOT a friend of boring, long books and tedious materials. I hope we can have a free interview soon and get to know each other so I can explain it to you in more detail and make a plan together. Good luck and thanks for your time. Gracias!
