About Alannah

I am a dedicated and approachable language tutor. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their language skills and achieve their academic goals. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, with a focus on clear explanations, interactive learning and exam preparation. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. Whether you need help with grammar, vocabulary, oral exams or written work, I am here to help you reach your full potential!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, supportive and tailored to each student's needs. I use clear explanations, grammar exercises, vocabulary practice, interactive activities and exam-style questions to build confidence and improve understanding.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can be adapted to suit each student's goals and ability.

I am studying German and Spanish at UCD and have experience tutoring languages.

My lessons are aimed at secondary school students studying German or Spanish, particularly Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students preparing for exams, improving their grammar or developing their speaking and writing skills.

Alannah has been giving German lessons to my daughter Lily (14 Yr old) for 2months and she has been absolutely amazing. She has such a lovely nature which makes the lessons more enjoyable. Alannah is very organised and focuses on the needs of the student. Lily's confidence has grown as has her German fluency. Would definitely recommend Alannah as a tutor!
