About Fabian

Well I'm a fan of languages. In addition to my mother tongue (Spanish), I speak fluent English, German and French. :-) I would love to teach you my language and also the cultural aspects of Germany and Switzerland. Together we can design a plan for our classes depending on your needs. I am a very patient and creative teacher. I also know very well what it takes to successfully learn another language. I teach you many strategies and tricks, to accelerate learning. I have more than 6 years of experience teaching German in several countries (Mexico, Peru, Cuba, Colombia, Germany and Switzerland). I have a master's degree in political science from the University of Bern in Switzerland and have just completed my MBA. Currently working as a financial analyst in a company with a global presence, I know how important it is to be able to communicate with people of different nationalities. I have also taken several courses in teaching foreign languages, motivating students and learning in general at various universities.

About the lesson

Hola! I'm glad to tell you about my class! We're going to start off very simply with the basic phrases so we'll soon be putting together a basic communication. In each class we get to know new words and focus on the vocabulary that interests you most. This way you learn the language in a natural and pleasant way. I work with several recognised books for levels A1-C1 (CEFR). Depending on your learning style, I choose the additional exercises, whether visual, auditory or experimental. We include everything that can help you progress faster in your studies. The course is based on a lively and fun technique for cultivating the four dynamics of language learning (reading and listening comprehension, written production and oral expression). The classes will be in an interactive way, creating an environment of trust and joy for you. My methodology depends on your needs. I offer courses in pronunciation, conversation, listening and grammar. In our courses we always focus on your wishes and needs in order to improve your level. Whatever your plan, I can adapt to teach you according to your wishes and preferences. My teaching system is based on IALS (Interactive language System). The patented IALS System has 4 important approaches that make it the best way to learn another language, it is implemented from start to finish in all our classes. More than a million people speak another language thanks to the characteristics that make it up. The patented IALS system is recognised as the best natural and interactive way to learn another language. So, our classes will be very interactive. :-)

Fabian is brilliant at explaining things and creates very enjoyable lessons. I've started German an Spanish lessons with him and the way that he packs lots of learning into one lesson without you realising it (because it is so fun) is incredible. Very organised lessons. Definitely would recommend.

Great Tutor. I feel very comfortable learning from Fabian. Especially when practising how to pronounce words and sentences clearly and correctly. He listens and gives feed back, he works at your pace and its almost effortless they way he is able to speak and translate in English if he notices a struggle to understand and that is only after hes given you the opportunity to translate first. I feel motivated after each lesson and always ready for the next one!
