About Joseph
I have been studying Spanish for the last eight years, and I have been a native English speaker my whole life. I have always prided myself on proper pronunciation, correct grammar, and impeccable spelling (in English that is). Don't be intimidated though. As a foreign language student, I am very understanding that learning a second language does not come naturally to most people. I am looking to provide a safe space to make mistakes and learn from them. If you have been a student of English for a while now, but are still struggling to find that confidence and ease with which native speakers speak, I am your man.

Are you a native Spanish speaker looking to sound like a native English speaker?
I am offering a space to work on whatever difficulties you may have with spoken English, be they pronunciation, sentence structure, or even appropriate word usage.
I can understand Spanish when it is spoken clearly and slowly, however these lessons will be primarily in English. If you still struggle with reading and understanding spoken English, I am not who you are looking for. These sessions are for mostly fluent speakers looking to polish their skills.
We will find out your strengths and weaknesses by having you read some English prose aloud, and by having you compose your own sentences. It will not be a very formal or structured lesson, but my goal is to prepare you for formal interactions, i.e. job interviews, presentations, etc.
