About Randee
I began my study of Spanish at the age of eight as part of an immersion program in my elementary school. I continued my study of the langage through high school and was awarded the Spanish award at graduation. I continued my study of Spanish in college and became a bilingual middle school teacher and taught latino students
math, social studies and science in Spanish. I also tutored students from elementary through high school who were studying Spanish.
After 35 years of teaching Spanish and ESL for the School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania I retired and relocated to Florida where I
tutor part time. I am well versed in academic standards and believe every student has the potential to succeed. The key to that success is to find the right tutor who can determine the strategies that will
help each student reach their goals.

To begin I determine each student's expected outcome of the tutoring session. My lessons are individualized to meet the student's goals. For example, if your goal is to aqcuire the skills to travel to a Spanish country and travel with ease, I would tailor your lessons
toward that goal. Using real life situations and dialogues I would prepare the student for their intended destination.
For younger students who need tutoring to further understand academic assignments I would use engaging examples of subject matter to clarify any difficulties a student may be experiencing.
My lessons are for all levels from elementary to adult and for
academic, travel and self enrichment purposes. I am an enthusiastic educator that believes learning a new language can open the door to many exciting experiences.
