About David

I am a lecturer in Spanish at an Irish university and am a former secondary school teacher of Spanish.

As someone who took up the language as an absolute beginner at university myself, I understand the process of Spanish language learning, including the obstacles and pitfalls that need to be avoided.

I focus on exam structure and exam technique. However, I also like to use Spanish-language news stories, sports, song lyrics and pop culture as a way to get students enthusiastic about learning the language -- whatever helps to spark your enthusiasm for the language.

About the lesson

I am a teacher and lecturer with almost 20 years of experience of preparing students for Spanish language exams. I provide one-to-one Spanish language tuition to students of all ages ( with particular expertise in second-level, third-level, and further education). Online or in-person. I tailor my lessons to suit your needs - whether that be preparation for state exams, university exams, or some other purpose. Results focused.
