About Colette
"Direct instruction is rarely the most comfortable path for those learning a new language. You might assume that grammar is the most important part of a conversation, but I prioritize the fluidity of idioms and expressions instead.
Having taught for 8 years, I maintain a standard that treats language as a tool rather than a textbook subject. My Master of Music degree from Queensland Conservatorium taught me the discipline required to master complex systems. Whether preparing for the DELE or conducting mock interviews, I insist on structural accuracy. Expect me to strip away the fluff so we can focus on the mechanics of real communication."
