About Jayjay
Hello! I’m Teacher Jao, a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with four years of experience teaching English in ESL companies and academies. I have experience working with learners from Pre-A1 and beginner to intermediate levels, and I welcome students of all ages and backgrounds.
I specialize in developing speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary skills. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style, activities, and explanations to match each learner’s level, needs, and goals.
As an enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and optimistic teacher, I strive to create a friendly and supportive classroom where students feel comfortable speaking English, asking questions, and learning from their mistakes. My goal is to make every lesson both productive and enjoyable while helping students build confidence step by step.

As a Licensed Professional Teacher and experienced English teacher, I believe that learning English should be practical, engaging, and comfortable. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help students become more confident in using it in real-life situations.
My teaching approach is student-centered and personalized. I adjust my lessons according to each student's English level, learning goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. I use clear explanations, guided questions, examples, pronunciation practice, vocabulary-building activities, reading exercises, grammar practice, and real-life conversations to help students understand and use English naturally.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or conversation to help students feel comfortable. We then introduce the topic and key vocabulary, practice through guided questions and activities, and apply the lesson through speaking, reading, or sentence-building exercises. I also provide corrections and constructive feedback throughout the lesson so students can gradually improve their accuracy and confidence.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience and willingness to meet students where they are. I understand that every learner has a different pace and learning style, so I create a supportive environment where students can make mistakes, ask questions, practice freely, and improve step by step.
My lessons are suitable for beginner to advanced English learners, including children, teenagers, and adults. I can help students improve their speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, and everyday communication skills, as well as prepare for English-related academic or professional goals.
Whether you are just starting to learn English or want to become a more confident speaker, I will guide you step by step toward your learning goals.
