About Iva
I have been working as a German teacher for more than 15 years. I studied German language and literature at the University of Bremen and Porto. In addition to German, I speak four other foreign languages. In my lessons, I explain the rules clearly, encourage conversation, and tailor my methods to each individual learner. Thanks to my own language learning experiences, I know how to learn efficiently and stay motivated. Hope to meet you soon and help you realise that learning German can be fun! :)

The lessons are interactive, dialogue-oriented, and motivating. We work on vocabulary and structures together and apply them in a targeted manner. I work with materials I have developed myself, including 2D animations, and provide individual feedback and precise corrections at the end of each lesson. As an experienced teacher and language lover with knowledge of five languages, I am very familiar with the typical challenges of language learning and will support you with appropriate methods to successfully overcome them. My lessons are suitable for advanced learners and exam candidates (Goethe, TELC, TestDaF, DSH).

I really enjoyed learning with Iva! Her lessons are clear, engaging, and well structured. She explains grammar patiently and encourages me to speak and practice. Learning German with Iva is fun — which I didn’t think was possible at first The lessons are creative, energetic, and never boring. Even tricky grammar suddenly makes sense because everything is explained so clearly (and repeated as many times as needed, without any eye-rolling). The patience is truly impressive, and the motivation is contagious. Iva really cares about students and enjoys teaching. Thanks to these lessons, German feels much less scary and a lot more enjoyable!
