About Luz
Hi! I’m a TEFL-certified English and Spanish tutor with a background in children’s advocacy and experience supporting learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. As a first-generation Latina, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language—especially when your culture and experience aren’t always reflected in the classroom. That’s why I create a welcoming, student-centered environment where learners of all ages feel supported and confident. I specialize in conversational Spanish for children, helping young learners speak naturally and confidently in everyday situations.
