About Quinton

Hello, I’m Quinton! With over 13 years of dedicated experience in education, I specialize in helping students of all ages unlock their full academic potential. Since beginning my career at age 18, I have worked with a diverse range of learners—spanning from early childhood (age 3) through young adulthood (age 22).The core of my experience lies in Special Education, which has equipped me with unique patience, adaptability, and the ability to tailor my teaching methods to how your child learns best. Having taught across nearly every school subject, I am highly confident in my ability to deliver comprehensive support. Whether you or your child needs to close a learning gap or achieve mastery, I am fully committed to helping them build the skills, proficiency, and confidence they need to succeed.

About the lesson

As a dedicated educator I am committed to student growth and success. I have found that scaffolding (using already learned knowledge) to build on what they don't know is a very effective learning strategy. It eliminates a lot of the anxiety about learning new things. A typical lesson plan for me is to review what you've already learned and look at what we are going to learn, and build from what you know. What sets me apart from other tutors is my results. I have been very successful with achieving the students goals in collaboration with what parents are wanting. I also have an easy time connecting with my students, which is important for learning.
