I would highly recommend Suffian. I met Suffian through Linkedin. Suffian has a very friendly and engaging way of teaching and his lessons made me approach problem questions from an angle I had never thought of before. We have only had 2 sessions and I am already feeling very confident going into my exam.

I recommend Suffian for three reasons:
1) His 1-to-1 session is helpful for Bar students with a "gap" in the syllabus knowledge. Within less than an hour, I can grasp the entire topic and be more confident in answering exam questions (as compared to previously I only "guess" the answer in the exam).
2) His recording is super helpful - I recommend students with financial difficulty - just purchase the recording already!
3) I love the mind map provided by him. It is clear, easy, and quick, I am printing it out to stick on my White Book, so I can refer to it during exams.

I enrolled with him after having failed both of the centralised exams. We did groups sessions whereby he gave lessons weekly for 7 weeks prior to the exam. These were based on highly examinable topics. I left every session very confident in that I knew exactly what to expect in the exam for each topic and how to tackle some of the hardest questions in mock exam questions. Other than the group sessions, I also completed the exam strategy lesson with him. I completed a mock exam in my own time and then handed the answers to him for checking. We then went through them together, tackling those questions which I got wrong. Written feedback was later provided too.

I have yet to sit my exams, but I am hopeful that after having had some private tutoring, I will feel more confident at the exams and have a higher chance of succeeding.

I found the notes on Criminal and Civil Litigation quite helpful as it was concise and easy to understand. The past questions were also really helpful in understanding key concepts and also remembering important details.
