About Ella

I’m a French-English Biomedical Engineering student at UCL and recently completed the French Baccalaureate with 18.23/20 overall. I studied Spécialité Maths (17/20) with Maths Expertes and SVT (19/20).

Having gone through the French school system myself, I understand the way the Baccalauréat and Spécialités are taught and the different challenges students can face. I can help with understanding difficult topics, working through exercises, preparing for tests and exams, and improving methodology.

I focus on actually understanding the reasoning behind each subject rather than simply memorising methods. In SVT, I also know how difficult it can be to understand exactly what an exercise is asking, even when you understand the content. I had to work on this myself and achieved 19/20 in SVT, so I can help students improve both their understanding and exam technique.

I can also help with other areas of the French curriculum.

About the lesson

UCL Biomedical Engineering student offering Spécialité SVT tutoring for Première and Terminale students. I achieved 19/20 in SVT and can help with understanding difficult topics, working through exercises, improving exam technique and preparing for tests and the Baccalauréat. I know that in SVT, understanding the content is only part of the challenge, knowing exactly what an exercise is asking and how to structure your answer can make a big difference. I improved significantly in this area myself and can help students do the same.
