Hi, my name is Jordan! I am a researcher studying human kidney cells, a soccer player, and an honor-roll graduate in Biomedical Science. About the lesson

I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorize them. My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s pace and goals. I often use analogies, visuals, and real-life examples, to make challenging topics easier to grasp and remember. I begin by identifying each student’s learning style and areas of confusion. From there, I break complex ideas into smaller, manageable parts, using step-by-step explanations and practice questions to reinforce understanding. I also teach study and problem-solving strategies that help students build long-term confidence and independence. Typical Lesson Plan - Check-in (5 min): Review progress and address any questions from the last session or class. - Concept Breakdown (15–20 min): Go through the new material using clear examples and visuals. - Guided Practice (20–25 min): Work through problems together, encouraging students to explain their reasoning. - Wrap-up (5 min): Summarize key takeaways and set goals or review tasks for the next session.
