Depending on age and grade level, I will plan a fun mix of creative work sheets, arts/crafts, hands on and practical learning. With my preschool and kindergarten students we do a mix of alphabet color sheets, songs, and hands on learning tools for letter identification. Before moving on to sounds, and sight words. From there it’s just time spent helping them to build their confidence and their vocabulary as they grow to understand and love to read.
