About Matt
My name is Matt. I am a student currently studying towards completing my PGCE and becoming a qualified PE and psychology teacher. My background professionally is rooted in the outdoor industry where I led outdoor activities for many years alongside also leading programme development and organising staff schedules. I am attracted to teaching as I love the idea of being able to support somebody who is interested in studying in my subject and help them improve bit by bit.

My lessons are for year 7 up to year 11. My techniques are to first understand what you are looking to achieve and also how much you know already, then build from there. This can be for general help understanding sports for GCSE PE.
My qualifications include I have completed both IGCSE and A Level PE as a student as well as a bachelor’s degree in sport psychology and a master's degree in outdoor and experiential education. I am also some way through completing my qualified teacher status.
