About Ananya
I am a Musician who has 13 years of experience with concerts and performance. I also produce original music. I began giving the trinity exams at a young age, but changed my approach after shifting to boarding school. I was the School Choir Head, and am The president of my College Music Society. I have two original singles on Spotify. I have a lot of experience in composition, songwriting, and arrangement due to my piano and vocal training. I have written for bands and producers, and am currently working on my debut EP.
Being a president in the Delhi Music Circuit has given me exposure to many musicians, live performances, and countless competitions.
I have arranged choir pieces for my music society, and participated in numerous college festivals.

I believe in creativity as much as skill. We are in a digital age of music, and it is easier than ever to produce and release songs. I do believe skill is very important, but I think songwriting and musical improvisation should be instilled at a young age. Music is like all art, a means of expressing oneself. The voice is perhaps one of the most expressive instruments.
As a child, I always found it easier to learn by ear over stringent theory. This helped me immensely while jamming and music networking in my college days. My approach is a lot of focus on developing musical instincts and working on the flow of creative thought. The best way to tackle music is playing with melodies and having fun.
That aside, I do acknowledge the vast edge music theory and instruments give to a songwriter in terms of translating ideas into reality. One must polish their skills, but without losing the joy involved in music. I would also discuss aspects of digital creations like mics and interfaces because this knowledge makes you much more valuable as an artist.

Details
I charge more for taking lessons at my home, as the student will have access to my home studio, midi keyboard, audio interface, mics, drum kit, and Grand Piano. I have expensive equipment students will use according to their learning level. In addition to this, they may refer to the sheet music I have.
