My teaching approach focuses on game analysis and notation, utilizing my academic background from the University of Sydney to clarify complex positions. I always start our journey together with a diagnostic rating assessment to pinpoint exactly where your current knowledge gaps reside. We will explore attacking play through specific, practical examples that make theory feel tangible and real. "Do you want to see your FIDE rating grow steadily through systematic improvement? My 13 years of experience coaching chess across Adelaide allow me to refine the logic of players ranging from kids to adults. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and am a Candidate Master, ensuring my instruction is grounded in precision. Board vision, pattern recognition, and calculation are core components of the training I provide to every student.
