About Connor
Math is often seen as a collection of dry rules, yet it is actually the language of intuition. Transitioning from 13 years as a quant into teaching allowed me to see how people struggle with the fundamentals of number sense. My 8 years of experience have helped me support 95 students ranging from those needing basic homework help to professionals tackling advanced linear algebra.
I remember clearly how difficult it was to parse through complex word problems during my early education. Arithmetic and mental math are the unsung heroes of success in subjects like statistics and probability. I find that many people simply need a different perspective to grasp geometry or mensuration.
