About Kailliou
Hello, my name is Kailliou Macon-Goudeau, and I am a double math and physics major at Davidson College. I love volleyball, dogs and anything involving strawberries. After taking BC calculus in the tenth grade, I realized how many of these exam focuses on skills rather than just pure memorization, practice instead of perfection. I try making learning more about solving problems and getting comfortable approaching the world with a more STEM mindset.

My teaching consists of getting the student to solve math/physics problems both consistently and confidently. A typical lesson plan consists of a brief icebreaker, answering any questions they had between this and the last meeting, reviewing a specific topic with real world examples, then giving the student an opportunity to practice with some corrections at the end. My tutoring is mostly for students preparing for the AP Physics exam, either Electricity and Magnetism or Mechanics, or students preparing for the AP Calculus exam, BC or AB. I can also tutor students going through entry level physics/math courses such as Calc 3, Linear Algebra, or Classical Mechanics.
