About Wren

Hi, I'm Wren! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Education (B.S.) from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey — a highly respected STEM university consistently ranked among America's top technology schools with deep connections to New York City's thriving tech industry. I have 5 years teaching coding to K-12 and college students through online one-on-one sessions. My "debug first" approach consistently produces students who are fearless problem-solvers rather than anxious beginners — because they learned from day one that broken code is just a puzzle waiting to be solved, not a failure to be ashamed of. I have guided beginners through first programs, supported AP Computer Science students, and helped college freshmen tackle challenging Java assignments. I was recognized with the Most Innovative Coding Educator Award from a US platform for outstanding student problem-solving outcomes. Debugging is the most important coding skill nobody teaches — I make it the foundation of everything.

Hey! I offer technical, supportive, and beginner-friendly online one-on-one live programming lessons for K-12, high school, college first-year, and bachelor's first-year students. My lessons cover Python, AI Basics, JavaScript, Java, SQL, HTML and CSS, C++, Algorithms, Software Development, and Cybersecurity Awareness. My completely new approach is "debug first learning" — I intentionally give students broken code to fix before teaching new concepts. Debugging broken code before building new code develops problem-solving instincts and code-reading skills that most students take years to develop naturally. Starting with debugging accelerates everything. No experience needed. Fully online and personalized.
