About Alaa
Although I'm a law student-and contrary to common belief- I was very sad that Math is not incorporated into our studies. What I enjoy most is seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something finally clicks. I take the time to break problems down, encourage questions, and build confidence, because I know that a positive mindset towards math can make all the difference. Whether it’s preparing for exams, improving grades, or just getting comfortable with numbers, I’m committed to helping my students succeed.

It sounds corny, but, numbers are our friends. I especially like algebra because I always say, math is rational and straightforward, there's no tricks, it's just a simple formula that you follow. My teaching method starts by debunking students' fear about math and then approaching the problem head-on by simple steps and repeating concepts again until it sticks.
