About Yolande

With a background in language education and years of experience working with learners from Grade 4 to Grade 12, I offer high-quality Afrikaans tutoring that is both effective and encouraging. I specialize in helping students master Afrikaans Taal, comprehension, literature, and poetry analysis across the IEB, CAPS and Cambridge curricula. My approach is grounded in clarity, consistency, and care. I am committed to academic excellence, and my lessons are structured to build real understanding, not just memorization. I focus on equipping students with the tools they need to approach tests and exams with confidence. I conduct myself with professionalism and take each student’s progress seriously. I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English, which allows me to explain complex concepts in the language the learner is most comfortable with. My lessons are well-prepared, tailored to the learner’s needs, and always aligned with curriculum standards.
