About Desiree

Hi! I’m Desiree — a college graduate (working on my Master's) with a strong academic background and a real passion for helping people get it when it comes to math. I know math can be frustrating, but I also know how rewarding it feels when it finally makes sense. That’s why I love tutoring — turning confusion into confidence is what I do best. I grew up in a big family, so patience and explaining things clearly have always been part of who I am. I’ve studied criminal justice, political science, and behavioral studies, which has helped me understand how different people learn and how to communicate ideas in a way that sticks. I’m currently working hard and staying flexible with my time, so I’m excited to connect with students who want support, motivation, and someone who truly cares about their success.

About the lesson

My math lessons are all about making things click. Whether you're struggling with the basics or just need extra help with homework, I tailor each session to fit how you learn best. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step breakdowns so that math feels less like a chore and more like a puzzle you can solve. Whether it’s fractions, algebra, geometry, or prepping for a big test, we’ll work at your pace and build your confidence along the way.

I offer flexible scheduling for both online and in-person sessions and can adjust lesson plans to match your current class, assignments, or specific areas of struggle.
