Hi! I’m Michael, a passionate and committed mathematics tutor with over 5 years of experience helping students improve their understanding, boost their confidence, and achieve real results. As a pharmacy student myself, I understand how overwhelming school can get — especially when math feels confusing or intimidating. That’s exactly why I teach. I’ve seen how the right support and simple explanations can make a huge difference, and I’m here to offer that same support to you. I believe that everyone can do well in mathematics, no matter where they’re starting from. I teach with patience, clarity, and a focus on building strong foundations. As a math tutor with over 5 years of experience, my goal is to help students truly understand the “why” behind every concept, not just memorize formulas. I focus on breaking topics into simple, clear steps and using real-life examples so students can relate to the problems they solve.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and results-oriented. Whether you're struggling with the basics or preparing for exams like WAEC or JAMB, I tailor each lesson to your exact level and learning pace. I believe anyone can do well in math with the right guidance.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This gives us enough time to review concepts, solve problems together, and test understanding. I provide extra exercises and simple tricks to boost confidence and help you retain what you learn.
My lessons are designed for:
Secondary school students (JSS to SS3)
JAMB, WAEC, and NECO candidates
Any student who simply wants to get better at math
