Hi! I’m Gaurav, a Computer Science student at Mount Royal University, and I offer personalized math tutoring for high school and first-year university students who want to truly understand math—not just memorize it.
My teaching approach is all about simplicity, clarity, and patience. I break down complex ideas into small, easy-to-understand steps, and I go at your pace. Whether you're struggling with algebra, logic, or basic calculus, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build confidence.
A typical lesson with me includes a quick review of the topic, step-by-step explanations with real examples, practice problems we solve together, and a short recap to make sure you feel comfortable moving forward. I’m big on creating a safe, pressure-free space—ask anything, make mistakes, it’s all part of learning.
What sets me apart is that I’ve been in your shoes—I know how frustrating math can feel sometimes. I don’t just teach the subject—I help you feel less anxious and more capable.
