About Cristel
I am a Civil Engineering graduate currently working as an engineer, and I hold two professional licenses. During my studies, I was a scholar and an academic achiever, and I consistently maintained strong academic performance. I also gained valuable experience as a volunteer tutor in college, where I helped fellow students understand difficult lessons.
With this background, I am committed to providing clear, patient, and effective math tutoring that builds confidence and deep understanding. My goal is to guide students step by step so they can improve their skills, perform better academically, and become more confident in solving problems on their own.

If math feels confusing or difficult, I’m here to help you understand it in a simple and stress-free way. I’ll guide you patiently with clear step-by-step solutions so you can gain confidence, improve your grades, and feel more prepared in class and exams.
My tutoring approach focuses on making math simple, clear, and easy to understand. I explain concepts step by step and use practical examples so students can see how problems are solved, not just memorize solutions. I adjust my teaching pace depending on the student’s needs and make sure they fully understand each topic before moving forward.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous topics or homework, followed by a short discussion of key concepts. We then work through guided examples together, and I gradually let the student try similar problems with my support. At the end of the lesson, I give short practice exercises and a quick recap to strengthen understanding.
What makes my lessons effective is my patience and focus on clarity. I aim to build confidence in students by helping them understand the “why” behind every solution. My lessons are suitable for elementary, high school, and college students who want to improve their math skills, strengthen their fundamentals, or prepare for exams.
