About Harshit
I am Harshit, a mathematics and statistics student at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, the top institute for mathematics and statistics in India. I have qualified the IOQM twice, earned multiple Olympiad medals, and scored 95% in both Class 10 and Class 12. I bring over 2.5 years of teaching experience, including working as a teaching faculty at an international math camp in the United States and creating mathematics content for GRE aspirants. What sets me apart is my personal journey. I struggled with mathematics during middle school but later transformed my understanding through the right approach and mindset. This experience allows me to clearly identify student difficulties and explain concepts in a simple, structured, and intuitive manner. My goal is to help students build confidence, clarity, and strong problem-solving skills in mathematics.

My classes focus on building strong conceptual foundations and developing logical mathematical thinking, rather than rote memorization. I begin by identifying a student’s gaps and misconceptions, then explain concepts step by step using intuitive examples. Each class includes concept explanation, guided problem-solving, and practice questions.
These lessons are suitable for school students (grades 8–12), Olympiad aspirants, and students who want to gain confidence and clarity in mathematics. Classes are taught in English and adapted to each student’s pace and goals.
