About Olalekan

I am a dedicated and results-driven tutor with a strong academic background in Chemistry and a solid foundation in Mathematics. I hold a BSc in Industrial Chemistry and I am currently pursuing my MSc in Chemistry, which reflects my commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

With experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary school level, I understand both the curriculum requirements and the common challenges students face. Over time, I have successfully helped students strengthen their understanding, improve their confidence, and achieve higher academic performance in both Mathematics and Chemistry.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and student-focused. I break down complex concepts into simple, clear steps and ensure that every student fully understands a topic before moving forward. I maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing difficulties.

I simplify complex concepts using everyday examples and step-by-step explanations.

I use interactive problem-solving during lessons to build confidence.

Past questions (WAEC, JAMB, GCSE, A-Level) are integrated into lessons to ensure exam readiness.

I give guided practice, assignments, and quick quizzes to track progress.

I encourage students to ask questions freely to create a comfortable learning environment.

My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them truly understand the subject and become independent learners.

Typical Length of a Lesson

Standard lesson duration: 60–90 minutes per session

Intensive exam preparation classes may extend to 2 hours, depending on student needs.
