About Samah
Embarking on my career journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) back in 2017 marked the beginning of a profound odyssey in the world of nursing. Transitioning to a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2020, I seized every opportunity to deepen my understanding and expand my skill set. The decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2021 was fueled by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a desire to elevate my practice to new heights. Now, as I pursue becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), I'm not just advancing my career; I'm embracing a calling—a calling to provide comprehensive care and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families. Reflecting on my journey, I recognize the invaluable lessons learned at each step—the hands-on experience as an LPN, the enhanced clinical judgment as an RN, and the broadened perspective as a BSN student. These experiences have not only shaped me as a nurse but also instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to share my knowledge and insights with others. As I tread the path of academia and clinical practice simultaneously, I'm driven by a passion for both learning and teaching. My educational journey serves as a testament to the belief that knowledge is not static but rather a dynamic force that grows through sharing and collaboration. What sets me apart as an excellent tutor is not just my academic achievements or clinical expertise but also my genuine empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by aspiring nurses. I've been in their shoes—I understand the doubts, the struggles, and the moments of triumph. And it's this empathy that fuels my commitment to guide and mentor others along their own paths in nursing. Moreover, I firmly believe in the power of continuous growth and lifelong learning. My journey—from LPN to RN to BSN and now on the path to FNP—embodies the principle that excellence is not a destination but a journey. As a tutor, my approach is to first understand the individual needs and learning style of each student. This helps me to tailor my teaching methods and materials to ensure that the student is able to grasp the concepts being taught.
I believe that knowledge is meant to be shared and my goal is to make learning an enjoyable experience for my students. In order to do that, I use a variety of teaching techniques such as interactive discussions, visual aids, and practical examples to help students understand complex concepts.
I also encourage my students to ask questions and express their thoughts and ideas freely. This helps to create a comfortable and safe learning environment, where students can feel confident in their ability to learn and grow.
Overall, my aim as a tutor is to help my students achieve their academic goals and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I believe that by sharing my knowledge in a way that is engaging and accessible, I can help my students to become lifelong learners.
